High Street

Southampton Tennis Club


The Southampton Tennis Club offers a full range of programs on 15 well-maintained hard-courts at three locations. Memberships are affordable and come in flexible combinations: join for a week, a month, or the entire summer.  There are no court fees and your membership includes free group lessons for members according to age and skill level.

Saugeen Shores Trolley Stop


The S.S. Trolley will be seen daily on the roads of Saugeen Shores through July and August shuttling passengers between our two downtowns, travelling along the shoreline continuously between 11am and 7pm. A GPS tracking system allows the public to track the trolley live, on their smart phones and other devices.

MacGregor Point Provincial Park


MacGregor Point is one of the most ecologically diverse natural places along the Lake Huron shoreline. Chantry Island Lighthouse Tour & Bird Sanctuary


Accessible only by tour boat, Chantry Island sits about a kilometer off the shore of Southampton.  During your two hour guided visit on Chantry Island, you will stroll back in time while visiting the Light Keeper's Cottage as it existed in the late 1800’s, decorated with period furnishings from private donors and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre. You will also see the surrounding gardens and many species of birds.

The Boardwalk


The Boardwalk has been a staple of the community of Southampton for over 100 years. It stretches along Lake Huron and offers great views of Chantry Island and its Imperial Lighthouse with benches and playgrounds along the way.
